Notes on Unstable Bodies

The first coat was an accident. A toile was assembled inside-out and left on the stand overnight, and in the morning it read better than the version we had planned.
From there the rule was simple: nothing gets hidden. Every seam allowance, every raw edge and every hand stitch stays visible, because the construction is the ornament.
The collection is produced in very small runs. Each coat takes roughly three days of hand finishing, which is why the numbers stay low.
