About
Georgia Siakavara
Georgia is a Greek artist and stylist. She began with paint and ended up with cloth, and now refuses to choose between the two. Everything she makes carries the same fingerprint: layered surfaces, visible construction, and a refusal of the polished finish.
Her work sits between fashion and art because that is where she thinks. A painting becomes a print; a print becomes a dress; a dress becomes the subject of the next painting. Personal expression is the whole point — clothes are how most people are read before they speak.

The studio
One room, two practices.
Painting and pattern cutting happen on the same table. Offcuts from the collections become collage material; pigment mixed for a canvas ends up on silk. Nothing is outsourced that can be done by hand.
